    • Hi everyone and welcome back!

      I’m so glad to be working with you again this year and I’m really looking forward to our blended delivery model. We will be recording our sessions so that anyone who is unable to attend for any reason can still see them and of course all the information, presentations, assessments etc will be online on Moodle for you to access in your own time too. However please make every effort to attend the sessions as you have as much to learn from each and your experiences as you do from me.

      It’s important also to be thinking now about your Research Project and starting to gather sources of information for it and if you are at sea this may be more difficult if you are relying on internet connections. Feel free to make contact to discuss your ideas as soon as possible.

      It is also really important to plan to complete your Ocean Yacht Master course as this is required to APL the Ocean Passage Planning module and is worth 30 credits.

      We will be setting up a brief Teams call prior to the start of the course so please look out for an email from Mitch with details.
      Looking forward to working with you again in the autumn and please until then enjoy your summer season.
