  Message from Cathy Ralph our Masters representative: I would like to Thank all the officials and helpers who made the masters gala run so smoothly at Bodmin leisure centre today . Congratulations to St Austell who swam an amazing team taking the masters title for 2017 from Truro city . It was great to see so many masters , seniors and some-nearly-senior swimmers competing . I do hope you all enjoyed the gala as much as myself and I look forward to seeing you again either at the intercounty gala in November or 2018 inter club !

  A very successful enjoyable meet - congratulations to all participants - Additional Congratulations to Helen Gorman from Long Eaton who set 3 British Records, subject to ratification and 8 SW Region records.SW Region records have a letter 'A' by the recorded time.  Devonport were top visiting club.Helen Gorman was awarded the Top Female and Joe Hess (Mt Kelly) the Top Male.

  29 New Masters County Records in ASA rankings - A big thank you to all the swimmers  - both the Cornish masters and the visiting Devon masters - for making it such an enjoyable meet.

• New Masters County Records Achieved on 27/04/14 File

  Additionally: Ali Phesse (Carn Brea & Helston) has claimed three 40-44 records in 100m Back, 50m Free and 100m Free achieved at the Royal Navy Masters Open competition (Millfield) on 30th March and Graeme Milne (Truro)  four 60-64 records in 50m Free, 100m Free, 50m  Fly and 100m Fly achieved at the Scottish Masters Short Course Championships in Aberdeen 18th/19th April.
