Dear Club Representative

The Kernow Diddy League has now been running for six very successful years, and Carn Brea & Helston are keen to promote this low level meet again this year.  We already have a lot of interest shown this year for the league, which is designed to provide practice for developing swimmers, in particular leading up to the Junior Inter Club Gala, so early response and payments are recommended to secure a place.  Please note that this year’s conditions include naming your club official and timekeeper for the league to secure a place, and please be aware that we can only guarantee to accept the first five clubs that meet these conditions to join us.

Amazingly, over the six years, the league has been won by a different club each year!  Can we have a seventh different winner? Or will one of the clubs regain the title for a second year?

The dates of the three galas for 2019 will be as in previous years, on the Sunday following an Arena Saturday, with any swimmers from Arena on the Saturday excluded from this gala on the Sunday.  We are very grateful to Truro and Penzance who have already offered to host a round, so that

Gala 1 will be held on Sunday October 13th at Carn Brea

Gala 2 will be held on Sunday November 10th at Truro Leisure Centre

Gala 3 will be held on Sunday December 15th at Penzance

Please find via a separate link the amended conditions for 2019, and if your club is interested in joining the League this year, please note in particular points 6 and 7 regarding securing a place, and e-mail confirmation.

Please ensure that your club coach receives this email – I no longer have email addresses for many coaches, as I have not been given permission to store them under the new GDPR.  These details will also be available on the county website.

Looking forward to a series of fun galas for Cornwall’s younger and developing swimmers!

Many thanks

Rosie Gordon
