College and your education is more than just learning one subject.  There are lots of other skills you will be developing to help your future career and personal development.

    • Forms

      Important Forms

There are some forms that need to be completed and returned to your Programme Manager before you start your course.  You can provide these on your welcome day or during induction.  If you are under 18 then you must ask your parent or guardian to complete these with you and sign them.

    • This form will be completed with the student once enrolled and with an understanding of the spaces they will be using on campus.  Parents should review this information too.

    • Student Guide

Your student guide provides all the main information about your time at Cornwall College in one place. Click on the link below to access this.

    • Cornwall College Values

      Code of Conduct

You will joining an exciting new community when you join the college.  Like the communities we live in, we need to work together to be successful and live within our fundamental British values.  The aim of the code of conduct is to promote an environment in which the rights and responsibilities of each individual can be met.

You will have a tutorial all about this and you will have a chance to input into course rules but you can take a look at a copy of the code of conduct by clicking on the link below:

    • Work Experience

We are the career college and we will be preparing you for your future careers.  Part of this will be experiencing the workplace and the jobs you are interested in.  There are a few ways in which you might experience this such as work experience, work placements, industry placements and opportunities to talk to relevant employers. You will also develop your employability skills and have some career education which will help you with finding and getting a job and being successful in your future workplace.

    • English and Maths

All students will be developing their English and Maths skills when they study with us.  These are really important skills for all subjects and for our future careers and personal development.  For some students who do not already have a grade 4 at GCSE, this will mean completing lessons to get a qualification which might be GCSE or Functional Skills.   If you already have a grade 4 at GCSE then you will still develop your skills in your main course lessons.
