- Order any medication or repeat prescriptions before you leave home
- Book a dental appointment
- Apply for a student bank account
- Check if you're eligible to apply for DSA and apply if you are
- Search for student discounts
- Apply for a student railcard
- Write a realistic budget
- Look for part time employment to fit around your studies
